The covid Pandemic has messed up a lot of different things, Including Fund Raisers, our local Northeast Nebraska Chapter of WTU has rescheduled a couple of times, and it looks like on March 12, 2022, our chapter will have its banquet.

 It will be held at open at the Wausa Fire Hall beginning at 5:00 pm for social hour along with their games & raffles with the dinner being served at 7:00 pm.

  This is a GREAT organization, with huge raffles and games, along with an unbelievable auction, including guns, archery gear, wildlife art, signs,” WTU” merchandise, along with outdoor gear, hunting trips and other prizes.

One of the nicest things that happens at this event is that the chapter holds game & raffles for kids, giving out lifetime permits, twenty-twos, BB-guns and WTU Clothing (sweatshirts, back packs and other gear) to youths under fifteen years of age.

  I’s an excellent family event, with entire families attending and a great way to introduce others to hunting and the outdoors. 

I’ve had a table for many years, bringing youth to the banquet, where those kids had a great time, enjoying the event as well as bringing home many game @ raffle prizes.
