Gary Howey’s son Paul was involved in a head on collision in Omaha last Sunday evening and then life flighted to Creighton Hospital.

His vehicle was hit by another car that came across the medium on Highway 275 near Omaha.

His injuries including 5 broken ribs, 3 cracked vertebra, contusions on his lungs and a smashed right leg.

He is out of ICU, and slowly mending.

Surgeons have told him, they may have to amputate the leg, which means he may be unable to work for at least a year or go back to his job as an as an arborist .
