few spots remain open for the 2026 PDR Deer Hunt.  This weekend’s big game adventure set for September 18th through 20th is designed EXCLUSIVELY for youth 12 to 18 years of age with ANY disability. 

Here’s what each hunter will receive at this fully paid for Whitetail deer hunt:

* A deer hunt weekend conducted from the Better Day Lodge in Clark, South Dakota

* Experienced guides for each hunter in-the-field

* Individual handicapped-accessible deer stands

* Two nights lodging

* Morning, afternoon and evening meals, snacks throughout the weekend

* A travel stipend to and from Clark, South Dakota

* Shooting supplies as needed

* PDR logo apparel

* Processing of the venison harvested

The PDR Deer Hunt for disabled youth is looking for hunters.  This hunt is conducted specifically for youth 12 to 18 years of age with any disability.  Participants will receive an all-expenses paid hunting weekend adventure in mid-September.  Included for both hunter and one parent or guardian are: meals/lodging for two nights and the venison processing of one white-tail doe as well as access to: firearms, ammunition, targets, prime private hunting land, special ground-level deer blinds with ramps and hard surface floors to accommodate wheelchairs, individual hunting guides, transportation to/from the field.  Click on the website: PDRYouthHunt.com for more information and hunt dates.

The PDR Hunt is a non-profit organization that provides a white-tail deer hunt exclusively for youth with any disability.  The hunt is held annually in mid-September in Clark, South Dakota.  PDR board members make all hunter selections.  Obtaining a South Dakota big game hunting license is the responsibility of each hunter.  This license is available on-line at http://gfp.sd.gov/licenses
